Out of the Annealer!

So, does anyone remember ages ago (a couple of posts ago- let's not get carried away), I was experimenting with blowing into my arch nemesis, the kitchen sieve? Well the results have been out of the annealer for a short while now and I have finally got around to taking a photograph of them to share with you.
I absolutely love the long narrow one on the left. Everything about it has turned out just to my taste; shape, size, texture- all down to good luck though, I really didn't have much of an idea at all what they would turn out like! One of my favourite things about it is that it feels so tactile and great to turn over in your hands. Whilst these are only some fun test pieces I am going to cold work them properly and get them looking super fetching. Honestly, I have never been this excited about a test piece before, normally for me they are a means to an end but at some point in the future this technique is being revisited and fully checked out.

I hope you all like them and are as weirdly excited as I am about them!
