Attempting to Draw

As a start- before I try and draw on CAD- I have used ink to draw my Mum and my sister.

I am very pleased with these and I think they have a pretty good likeness. However the line drawings I traced from them just look ridiculous. I was going to upload them so we could all have a laugh and cheer ourselves up a bit but I can't even face that! I've decided to just import these drawings into straight Adobe Illustrator and trace directly from them.
