I got a small off cut of the high density foam I would be milling into from Richard. This was so I could do some small tests and make sure that the plaster wasn't going to get broken when it was being taken away from the foam.

Pretty vague. |
I had used spray wax on the foam before pouring the plaster to give it the best chance of release. The plaster did come away mostly unscathed but I'm not really sure how accurate this test is. The details here are quite basic and are cut into the form in a sort of 'V'-type angel. I ended up deciding to just wait until I had the final milled object so I could see a bit more clearly what needed to be done, and then do any further tests that would be necessary.
