Sleep Sketching

So I decided to wake myself up hourly through out the night and quickly draw whatever  I had been dreaming or just whatever was in my mind right at that point. 

I had a really bizarre dream that night but unfortunately I don't think the drawings I ended up with represent anything remotely interesting. 

I think they're all a bit to figurative which is completely the opposite of what I thought would happen. I'm fairly impressed with my ability to draw when tired and in the semi-darkness, it's not at all the mess I had hoped it would be.

I tried to abstract them (you know what I mean) by mixing different elements of them together in different ways.

Terrible and smudged.

I decided to draw them straight on to circles seeing how the lenses will be round in order to get a better feeling of what they would be like. They're a lot more interesting and abstract when done like this but I think almost too abstract in a way. I don't really understand how other people would interpret them, and if people 'don't get' them then they're not really right. It's sort of hard to explain.
